working with us

for employees

a safe space to talk

If you’re experiencing a difficult situation at work and aren’t sure what to do next, we’re here to listen. We provide confidential, impartial support to help you explore your options, answer your questions, and make the decision that’s right for you.

When might you contact us?

You may benefit from speaking with us if you’re experiencing health, work-related or personal challenges that are affecting your wellbeing or your experience at work. For example, you may be:
✓  Experiencing conflict with a colleague or manager
✓  Affected by organisational change, restructuring or redundancy
✓  Feeling excluded, intimidated or bullied
✓  Concerned about inappropriate behaviour, discrimination or harassment
✓  Struggling with excessive workload, pressure or work-related stress
✓  Noticing signs of exhaustion or worried you may be at risk of burnout
✓  Feeling that something isn’t quite right at work and wanting a confidential conversation to help clarify your concerns
✓  Looking for a confidential sounding board to help you think through your options before deciding what to do

You don’t need to know whether your situation fits a particular definition before contacting us. If something doesn’t feel right, we’re happy to listen.

Working with Trustline

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect. Our process is straightforward, confidential and designed to help you understand your situation and explore your options at your own pace.

Discovery call

We begin with an introductory phone call. This gives you the opportunity to briefly explain what’s been happening, ask any questions you may have, and understand how our service works. We’ll explain confidentiality, answer any initial concerns and, if you’d like to proceed, arrange your first one-to-one consultation.

One-to-One Consultation

Our consultation will usually last around one hour and take place at a mutually agreed location away from your workplace, or online if you prefer. Our aim is to provide a neutral, discreet and supportive environment where you can speak openly and feel heard.

Explore Your Situation

During the consultation, we’ll take the time to understand your situation, listen without judgement and help you clarify the issues you’re facing. Through thoughtful questions and discussion, we’ll help you identify the key concerns and gain a clearer understanding of your situation.

Understand Your Options

Together, we’ll explore the options available to you and discuss the possible advantages and implications of each. We’ll answer your questions, provide an independent perspective and help you understand what support or next steps may be available. Our role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you make informed decisions.

You Decide

You remain in control throughout the process. Whether you decide to take action, take no action, or simply take more time to reflect, the decision is always yours. If you choose to move forward, we’ll discuss and agree on appropriate next steps and continue to support you as appropriate.

What a Personne de Confiance is, and What it is Not

As your PCE partner, we work alongside your existing wellbeing resources, adding a unique value-added resource that helps employees access the right support at the right time.

We’re here to…

Provide a safe, independent and confidential place to talk, outside your organisation’s reporting lines.
Listen without judgement in a confidential setting.
Help you understand your situation and explore your options.
Explain your organisation’s responsibilities, policies and available support.
Help you think through your next steps, so you can decide next steps.
Support you in raising concerns early, before they become more difficult to resolve.

We are not here to…

Tell you what to do. The decisions are always yours.
Take sides or make decisions on your behalf.
Investigate complaints or determine outcomes.
Offer legal advice.
Act as a doctor or therapist.
Replace HR or other specialist support where it’s needed.

My organisation doesn't have a PCE. Can you still help?

Yes.
Even if your organisation has not appointed a Person of Trust (PCE), you don’t have to face workplace concerns alone.
We offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call to understand your situation, explain how we work and discuss whether our services are appropriate for your needs.
If you decide to proceed, we’ll explain the available support options, our current fees and terms before any professional services begin. Where appropriate, we can also discuss how an independent PCE service could benefit your organisation.
